Mission to Magadan, Sunday, August, 31, 2014, at 11:14pm:

I have been traveling in Alaska recently but a while ago I gave a retreat to the Sisters of the Servants of the Holy Eucharist in a small town named Marx in Western Russia. In order for me to get there I fly eight hours from Magadan, then two hours to a large city and another hour by car to get to the monastery. The community is the only Russian order in Russia of Catholic sisters. The order has over 200 vocations and new young women interested are still coming. 

Please pray for the vocations to the priesthood and to our Sister Orders. God bless you in your travels.

Mission to Magadan ( 8 hours ago ) :

Fr. Michael did an eight (8) day retreat for the Sisters Servants of the Eucharist in November. The sisters serve Russia and former Russian countries. He focused on the relationship to Jesus and the holiness we are called to live in that relationship. Such a blessing to have such sisters working in Russia.
